Sexual Assault Awareness (SAA) was founded in 2014 by Andrew Pari, LCSW, Diplomate, the nation’s leading authority on the neuro-biological arousal response mechanism (ARM) in sexualized violence. As Founder and Director of Sexual Assault Awareness, LLC, he is a psychotherapist with over 20 years’ experience treating survivors, including specialized populations in the sex industries and victims of trafficking.
Currently, SAA provides sexual assault awareness through training of interventionists from the military, law enforcement and CSEC, keynote speeches, and expert testimony. Additionally, SAA is developing a book on arousal mechanisms during rape with formal a research study being conducted in conjunction with Alliant University.SAA also provides private practice individual, distance and group psychotherapy
SAA is dedicated to treating and raising awareness of sexualized violence, through training, research, consultation and individual psycho-therapeutic treatment.
SAA’s vision is to free people from societal shame-based views of sexuality and sexualized violence through awareness of abuse, assault, and systemic dynamics that oppress women throughout the world.

He received his Master of Social Work degree from California State University, Long Beach in 1992.
